DIRECTIONS

From the East and Gatwick

Reach Chichester via the A27.  Proceed westward around the Chichester by-pass (A27).  At the fourth roundabout at the end of the by-pass, filter left onto the A259, signposted Fishbourne, Funtington and Bosham.  (Do not continue on the A27 to Portsmouth, no exits until Havant!)

Follow the A259 past Bosham to Southbourne, about 6 miles.  Beware of a speed camera as you enter Southbourne and its 30mph limit.  Carry on for 300m after the mini-roundabout in Southbourne and turn left into Prinsted Lane, signposted Prinsted, in front of the “Golden Chopsticks” Chinese takeaway.

Proceed down the lane and the square is on the right after about 300m.  4 The Square is on the north side of the square, immediately on the right.

From London

Follow the A3 from London.  After Petersfield and having climbed over the South Downs, take the first junction off the A3(M), the B2159, signposted Emsworth.

In Rowlands Castle, turn left at the double mini-roundabout on the B2158, signposted Emsworth, leaving a Shell Garage on the right.  Follow this road to Emsworth and then through Emsworth, under the railway bridge and to the roundabout with the A259.  Turn left at this roundabout.

After about a mile, Prinsted Lane is on the right, signposted Prinsted, immediately after a field and then terrace of new houses on the right.

Proceed down the lane and the square is around the corner and on the left after about 400m.  4 The Square is on the north side of the square, immediately on the left.

From the West and North

From the north, take the A34 towards Southampton and then follow signs for M27 East.  From the west, join the M27 travelling east.

Follow the M27 past Portsmouth, staying on the M27, signposted London and Brighton.  At end of the M27 (where the A3(M) filters left to London) continue on the A27, signposted Chichester and Brighton.

Pass the junction to Havant and Hayling Island, about 2 miles, and then take the next exit, signposted A259 Emsworth.  (Do not stay on the A27 to Chichester (no exits until Chichester!))  Turn right at the first roundabout, going under the A27, and follow the A259 to Emsworth, about 2 miles.  Carry straight on at the Emsworth roundabout.

After about a mile, Prinsted Lane is on the right, signposted Prinsted, immediately after a field and then terrace of new houses on the right.

Proceed down the lane and the square is around the corner and on the left after about 500m.  4 The Square is on the north side of the square, immediately on the left.

Parking

If space is available, you can park directly outside the cottage in the square.  Otherwise, there are no official restrictions on parking elsewhere in the square, but please be careful not to restrict access when parking outside other properties.
