TERMS
and CONDITIONS of BOOKING DEPOSITS All
offers of accommodation are subject to availability and no booking can be
accepted unless accompanied by a deposit. The
deposit (non-refundable) comprises 25% of the holiday cost. BOOKINGS Bookings
made by telephone or by e-mail will be held for a maximum of 5 days.
If the required deposit is not received within this time the
accommodation may be re-let. Bookings
made within 8 weeks of date of arrival must be accompanied by the full payment. PAYMENT The
balance, 75% of the holiday cost, must be paid 8 weeks before the date
of arrival. In the event of the
balance not being paid by the due date we reserve the right to cancel your
booking and re-let the cottage. Payment must be made by cheque, payable to Mrs
A Brooks. CANCELLATIONS If
you have to cancel a booking within 8 weeks of your date of arrival, we regret
we cannot make any refund unless we are able to re-let the cottage.
It is recommended that visitors take out their own cancellation
insurance. ARRIVAL
AND DEPARTURE Please note that the cottage is not available until 4 pm on the date of arrival and must be vacated by 10 am on the morning of departure. (Normally Saturdays) MAXIMUM
NUMBERS IN PARTY Maximum
number of guests allowed is four. PETS Sorry no pets SMOKING We
regret smoking
is not allowed in the cottage. YOUR
RESPONSIBILITIES You
must look after the property. You
must leave the property in the same state of cleanliness and general order in
which you found it. The hirer is
legally responsible for any damage or breakage which must be notified and paid
for, LIABILITY Whilst
every endeavour is made to ensure the particulars of our literature is correct,
the proprietor cannot be held liable in respect of changes or alterations made.
The
proprietor is relieved of any liability for accidents to visitors or loss or
damage to their property. The
proprietor reserves the right to decline accommodation and to demand the
immediate departure of any persons not complying with these conditions or for
any conduct detrimental to the property or the comfort of the neighbours.
